Comprehensive contraception advice is available during normal surgery times. We offer oral contraceptives, injectable contraceptives. The morning after pill is prescribed where appropriate.

This clinic is held on Monday afternoons from 13:30 to 15:00. The doctor, practice nurse and health visitor are in attendance. Immunisations are dealt with by the doctor or practice nurse.

The health visitor offers advice on problems not related to illness e.g. sleeping, feeding and toilet training. This is an open access clinic and an appointment is not needed for health visitor. Appointment only with practice nurse for Immunisations.

Regular development checks are performed at the appropriate ages by either the doctor or the health visitor. Appointments for these special development checks will be sent directly. Toddlers’ clinic: twice a month for over 1 year.

These clinics are held for regular review of patients with the above conditions. They are run by appointment with the practice nurse or doctor.

Ante-natal clinics are held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (sometimes afternoon), by appointment and in conjunction with the community midwives who organise and offer their own appointments.
